The Crew

This past year I was asked to design a poster for our department, so I thought it might be fun to turn us all into cartoon characters. I'm not including the background and the text that went with it but it was used to represent all the magic that comes out of the Community Relations Dept.

Logo creation for Community Kitchen

This is the new logo for a great program that is supported through the Food Bank, it gives culinary and life skills to those just out of prison, living in severe poverty or those having a difficult time and have no other options. I was honored with the opportunity to upgrade their look and try and give them a cleaner and more professional look.

Super Fly Revenge

People that know me, know I don't like bugs and I am terrified of frogs. Don't ask why... Anyhow, if these mortal enemies ever decided to battle for control and I was forced to take sides, I would side with the less evil winged insects. I might even go as far as building a frog terminator as illustrated above. Please, no hate mail from frog lovers.

Comic thoughts

OK so here is a character I have in just about all of my sketchbooks...I have had a love of comics since I was a young girl. Playing in my mom and dad's backyard, I created him in my mind to protect me against my brothers and their constant bullying....he's a combination of my love of Batman, Spiderman and my fave wild animal, a panther. I drew him in Illustrator and brought him into Photoshop to create the alley wall behind him.
